(at the Queen Anne Farmer's Market; last photo in my home)
At times this week I've had thoughts along the lines of "I will never get caught up on my to-do list before I die". This is the first week school's been out and we're all adjusting to a new rhythm. There have been moments of tension between my boys as they get used to being together all the time, and stresses/adjustments for me. Still, we've slept late, read lots, swam in the ocean, enjoyed time with friends, played and played and played at the beach, spent time at the park, taken walks in the neighborhood, built with lego, ate ice cream, and battled in many squirt gun fights. All in all, a good week; summer through and through.

My girls are adjusting to the fact that our early summer is involving a massive clean out of our home....not so much fun, but we are all enjoying the rewards!
The colors of the produce are just gorgeous!! And that salad looks delicious too! I am exhausted just reading about your first week "out of school"......
And congratulations on Year 2 of blogging. I enjoy your posts every morning with my morning coffee. The boys are growing fast, Lecia! Have a super fun weekend. You have inspired me to go to our Farmer's Market on Saturday in South Anchorage to pick up some fresh Matanuska Valley produce. xoxoxo
I always struggle a little to get used to the free time in holdays where the normal routine is missing but you soon adapt. Your market photos are always a joy, especially on Friday when I know I'll be going to my favourite one tomorrow to stock up on good things. Your spread at home looks mouthwatering. Enjoy the weekend!
gorgeous shots. i never finish my to-do list - i just add to it.
i'm with char....the to do list is a mile long and will be tomorrow..i think that goes for many of us...so much to do (need to and want to) so little time....wish there were more hours in the day...love your photos...congrats...i can't remember how long i have been reading your blog but i am so blessed to have you in my virtual world...you are an inspiration to all of us :) hugs
I know that to-do list feeling. It's tough adjusting to summer. I will be happy when my teens start work at the day camp next week just for a little normal rhythm.
That's why I don't do to do lists:)! Happy weekend!
Oooh Asparagus, I had some yesterday, it was delicious!! Only one more week, though, makes me sad.
Just clicked on your links, 30 years, 30 wishes and Are you Happy and they took me to the same place, is that supposed to happen? Just thought I'd let you know

Your week looks delicious. Mine week sounded similar, although my thoughts were more "my house will never be clean this summer."
