Today, a few more photos from Monday's hike.
Alexi and I just watched Frida, and I was so moved by it.
Random things regularly seem to materialize in our luggage; a long-lost camera manual was found in our hiking backpack (happy day!).
I was glad for the need to find our fans yesterday. Enjoyed my first iced coffee of the summer.
We're eating raspberries and strawberries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just about all of the vegetables we're eating are from our garden, and that feels great on so many levels.
I hope you're enjoying your week! xo

Frida is an awesome film, I haven't seen it for a while but I did love it last time I watched it
I haven't seen Frida for such a long time but remember what a joy it was. Here there's an amazing exhibition of her work on display as well. Your hike looks wonderful, I wish I could spend a few hours in the forest,
Agree, Lecia, Frida was an emotional and moving film. I should probably watch it again. Having Netflix is really a treat, isn't it? I'm catching up on all the old Nick and Nora Thin Man mysteries and some of those wonderful old musicals from the
30's and 40's. (And The Tudors and Lost, which I never saw originally.)
How wonderful you can eat your own veggies...not possible for me anymore, but I well remember what a lovely, productive garden I had in Michigan.
Beautiful, beautiful photos.
I need to get to the woods!
I love walking in the woods. Can't wait for little one to grow up a bit so that he doesn't get tired so easily.
Great photos!
I've been living on iced coffee for weeks now! I use my cold brew toddy system, and always have a carafe of dark, thick coffee in the fridge ready to go.
THe photos are excellent. Wish I could be there!
The hike scenery is wonderful! I would be worried about bears..... I am on a toast kick lately. Must have toast with lots of butter every morning! and the hubs and I just figured out the On Demand button on our remote! A whole new world of TV!!! xoxoxo
What a wonderful paradise for your boys! Can you imagine what memories they will have of their childhood???

Your days sound (and look) absolutely delightful!
such beautiful shots!!
I absolutely love these pics!
I love those photos, especially the 2nd one.
Isn't iced coffee in the summer just the best thing ever?? I even went so far as to buy a resuable tumbler with straw from Target the other day - it's awesome, and it keeps the coffee cold and iced for a long time.
Gorgeous gorgeous!
