We've had a bit of a heat wave the past few days.Yesterday we visited The Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute. It was fascinating to see the ways in which we're alike and different. I highly encourage a visit, if you're in Washington.
This week we're looking forward to hockey camp for the boys, and Grandma's arrival midweek, and celebrating Cal's birthday.

the light on the cutting board is just beautiful
We're rejoicing because it's finally under 90! Been a very, very hot summer this year....of course, that's possibly more noticable than it should be because last summer was cooler than normal.
