My aunt and uncle came over for dinner last night and I made my favorite lasagne (excited that I was able to stock the freezer with leftovers from the meal!).
If you live in Seattle and haven't yet been, check out the Melrose Market! It's a really beautiful space that houses some of the city’s best independent food vendors, as well as shops and a restaurant and bar. The food at Sitka & Spruce (pictured in some of the photos above) couldn't be better. The flowers pictured above are at Marigold & Mint (also in the Melrose Market) - such a sweet little shop.
My friend Amber is featured seller right now at Etsy - her soaps and candles are wonderful.
Happy last day of September!

I'm sad too that September is nearly over. Normally it's my favourite month but this year those beautiful days were few and far between, although today the sun is shining again. I must try that lasagne recipe - a favourite dish of mine too.
I always read your blog, with or without a comment. I love it!
I agree! September had swift wings this year, and I can't believe that it's almost over!
Love all of the flowers in your pictures...and your sense of balance is excellent!
These photos are absolutely gorgeous! I especially love all the greys and textures in the dining shots. Oh, but I also love the colours in the floral shots!
I will be sure to add Melrose Market to my next visit to Seattle! Thanks for the recommend xoxo

Lovely. I just love your processing.
Thank you so much, friends!
Jacqueline: no processing - this is how they come out of the camera.
Beautiful images. And now here we are, in October.
I love the looks of that restaurant--and the name! Love, love, love. Sounds very Alaskan :) Happy October, Lecia. Hope your fabulous weather continues.
These are beautiful!! I've been one of your flickr contacts for awhile, but this is the first time I've seen your blog - what a lovely space.
