holding down the fort

Alexi and Abbott are at Camp Orkila for the weekend. Cal continues to sit in his respective seat in the car and at the table; I'm holding down my side of the bed. We miss them terribly and in the meantime, are dreaming up all sorts of fun we're going to have together.

What are you up to? Have a good one. xoxo

Hi, your photos are beautiful. I've just found your blog through guusje's appletart. I am a mum of 3 living on a small island in the middle of the mediterranean sea. I'm starting a photography course this October and am excited to share what I learn. I have two blogs one about the island where we live and the other like yours about daily lifes.

Some little family habits and rituals are hard to break! We're just having a much needed catching up on stuff weekend, nothing too exciting. I hope you and Abbott are having a fun weekend!

After the race yesterday, we spent the afternoon decorating for Halloween (we have more Halloween stuff than Christmas stuff thanks to my husband) and just enjoying the fall weather. This is our favorite time of the year, and we are all loving it!
