Alexi and Abbott made it home safely yesterday late afternoon after a fun weekend at Camp Orkila. Cal and I spent the weekend relaxing at home, harvesting the garden, biking, watching the sun go down at a neighbor's. All felt right with the world as we sat down to dinner all together, for the first time in days.
You may remember that I enjoy participating in seasonal color weeks. I find there is something almost meditative about taking the time to look for and appreciate specific colors in the world around me. Today marks the beginning of an autumn colors week organized by Jan (look at the posts under my autumn colors week label to see last year's posts), and I'm participating again this year. Join in if you'd like, and let me know in the comments so I can stop by and say hello. Here's the schedule:
Happy Monday morning to you.
