Some of the artwork my kids make at school really blows me away. Look at these (kindergarten classroom) cats! Cal's is the one at the lower right border.
Yesterday after dinner Abbott (age 8) was working on a particularly challenging puzzle. When I asked him 'how close are you to being done?' his response was 'as close as we are to inventing time travel.' OK.
Wow!! how old is your son Abott? he sure knows how to talk!! My daughter who turned 10 in June is aswell beginning to come up with this sort of talk!! I love the Cats drawings.
I busted out laughing at Abbot's response to the puzzle. That is so great! I think I will also ask Finn to draw a cat, and see what he comes up with. Currently, the people he draws have arms and legs coming straight out of their heads... :)

Hi Dina - Abbott is 8! It's fun seeing the kids get older, isn't it? Thanks about the drawings.
Kids are wise beyond their years, sometimes :-)
WOW!
I am impressed at the art work of Cal's class. Those are some amazingly colorful cats!
Go Abbott. I know how that feels. Another great post, Lecia.
It's great that you get to go inside your kids school everyday and check out their work.
That's a good one! I anticipate that your boys are going to give you a real run for your money!
Of course...the same thing could be said about my girls....
Classic! It will be so fun for Abbott to look back on your blog as he gets older.
