Late in the afternoon Cal and I went for a walk in what was left of the daylight. The wind really began to blow, as it can here by the water, and we walked on a carpet of strewn maple leaves the size of placemats. I noticed a lone gingko leaf at the bottom of a little puddle in a pothole. We haven't yet found our mittens or had it occur to us to look for them, and Cal ended up putting one of his hands in my pocket for warmth.
Today's post is an excellent example of why I come here every day, first thing. Just a little slice of wonderful family life and love. Thanks for being the blogger that you are.
