After over an hour and a half wait at the border and an apocalyptic hail storm whilst in traffic on I5 we're home.
I must say, I'm glad to be coming to the end of my 365 project - a picture every day in 2010. My set from 2010 is here, if you'd like to see. (To clarify, I will of course continue taking lots of pictures, but will not necessarily take/post one every single day in the future.)
I'm working out the final details for a gathering we're having on New Year's Day, and debating about whether to dismantle our Christmas tree beforehand, or leave it. When do you tend to put away your holiday decorations? Usually we do it January 2, but I often long to do it before that.
Happy Wednesday. xo

Waking up to snow is always a great thing!!
We dismantle the tree after the Jan 6th - I like to have Christmas decorations around during the holidays.
We like to keep our decorations up alittle into January. It keeps the feeling going as we ring in the New Year!
I'm so impressed with your 365.
I only made it to about April.
Have a Happy New Year!
happy new year!
I dropped out of Project 365 within 7 days. I plan to attempt it again this year, but I will be doing as postcards from blog camp which isn't going to be so strict, apparently.
I've enjoyed checking in on your posts this year. :)
Traditionally I think you're supposed to keep the tree up until Epiphany/Three Kings' Day/Nollaig na mBan/Twelfth Night which is on the 6th of January. We started doing this a few years ago and it feels so much nicer and relaxed.
We have our tree till the 2nd February (the candlemass).
Happy New Year
Usually Jan 2nd. It is part of the cleaning house for the new year.
