Saturday

My friend Kathleen, who hasn't seen Abbott and Cal in a while, recently looked at some pictures of them and commented, "It’s interesting—they look so grown up and yet in many ways they still look exactly the same. I guess it’s true that life is a process of becoming more yourself." I think she's right.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend. xoxo

Hi Lecia! I very much enjoyed the field trip with Cal's class to the International District. I too loved the fortune cookie factory, enjoyed seeing all the fortunes. Lovely pictures as usual. Happy Valentine's Day! xoxo

I love the top photo of you and the boys.
Someday soon I will have to show my kids the ocean.

These pictures are absolutely breathtaking! I hope to give my (someday) kids the childhood memories that I feel from these photos, if that makes any sense. :)

i forget how spectacularly colors pop against seattle grey. i adore that grey, in its thousand and one shades. i don't know if you do, also, lecia, but whichever way your affections lean, you've a talent for capturing and celebrating it. thanks for that.
