Today is the one hundredth day of the school year. Cal has collected one hundred pieces of sea glass to bring to his kindergarten classroom, in celebration of this milestone.Today is also the thirteenth anniversary of my first date with Alexi. A couple of weeks prior that same year, I remember feeling lonely as I spent Valentine's Day evening with my friend Nancy and a few others. You never know what the future holds!

My husband always sends me flowers on 22 February because that is the date that we first met - 29 years ago this year. It is a much more romantic day than Valentines Day for me!

I love his hands in the picture! I always take pics of my oldest drawing or writing. It is what he loves to do! Seeing there little hands, already imperfect and wise at a young age - I love it! Call me a visual I guess...sure you understand with your too log of photography.
