night

Tonight I sat outside for a few minutes. I looked up and noticed the little or the big dipper, I didn't take the time to sort out which, and for those few moments I felt like myself in the truest sense, the same way I've always felt when I've looked up at that same dipper my whole life.

You always find the most beautiful ways of saying things, both in your pictures and your words. Tonight I'll look out at the stars.

Lecia--I have that same experience every time I look up at the stars too. And I always find that "dipper" and never know for sure which one it is.

Thank you Vanessa.

Cindy: I'm so glad you know what I mean! I hoped that would be the case, at least for some.

Beautiful. You can say so much in just one paragraph.

I love those quiet moments!

And part of why I want to be back in the country so badly is because I miss the stars at night.

The ferry in the mist photo in the previous post is exceptional. It captures the essence of Seattle this time of year. I'm impressed that you were able to see any stars at night, cloud cover must have thinned out. Beautiful post, as always. Thx!

I love these two photos.....the bottom one with the hand on the shoulder says so many things. It is a beautiful photo. My boys are a bit older than that now, but this image took me right back to when they were that age. Meant to comment on your previous post. You have a way of making even our gray days beautiful.Margaret

There is something so exactly right about that ferry shot. Gorgeous.

Happy weekend, Lecia.
