Monday

Sometimes it's gray, here, for days on end, and I have to think about color differently.

I hope your week is off to a good start. xoxo

I know that problem Lecia because Berlin is one one the greyest cities. You capture those overcast skies so beautifully though and it's so inspiring to see the spring bursting through. Finally the cherry blossom is coming out here and I've planned a photo expedition for the end of the week.

I love when the sun pops out after a stretch of gray days. Everything comes to life. xo

Lecia: Where was the top picture taken? Just curious. I am from the Seattle area originally, now I live in San Antonio.

Thanks,
Sharri

Well you know, color is one of your specialties! I've long admired your use of it - be it a splash of color on a calm background or the beauty in tone on tone. You do have a type of palette you work with often, although I suspect much of that is from the way the light works in your corner of the world.

And for the record - your greys and other neutrals tend towards peaceful and calm, and not at all dull!

Days and days of rain broke through into several days of real (not just daffodil hued) sunshine here. I will send some your way! :)

Sharri: Pike Place Market!

Kristin: thank you so much! And, you are so right - the palate you see here is based purely on the light etc in my environment....

Nicola: thank you! so glad you're getting some sun.

Vanessa: can't wait to see your photos.

I am not very good with grey. It scares me.
