these days

I never ceased to be amazed - thrilled - by the unabashed joy and wonder the magic of a holiday brings out in my boys. Our Easter bunny delivers baskets and hides eggs while we sleep, and each and every egg found brings forth a squeal of delight. I know I won't ever forget these times.

One thing I can always count on is soul-filling music at church on Easter. The sound of the trumpet still lingers in my ear.

However you spent the day, I hope your week starts with a sense of possibility.

Are these peas and carrots candy? They are so funny. Candy dressed up like vegetables.

A joyous Easter season to you. I love the picture of your boys all dressed up. The first Easter that all 'baskets' were given long distance at our house!

Easter has been odd, busy and unbusy all at once. Today work was quiet and then busy and then quiet again. Very unusual holiday this year because of the Royal Wedding on Friday.

I'm so grateful for the Easter bunny and Santa that bring magic each year - even my 13yo was still super excited hunting chocolate eggs.
