Sunday night is always a mixture of a lingering sense of the idyllic, on the one hand, and on the other, the unavoidable reality of setting an alarm clock, collecting garbage for Monday morning's pick up, laying out clothes for school tomorrow. When Alexi and I were dating, we cooked dinner together every Sunday night, as a way to stretch out those last few hours of togetherness in the weekend.

Lovely photographs. I like the perspective, it almost feels like we are wandering through a garden with you on that sunday afternoon.
Beautiful post. Thanks for the reminder that there are those heavenly bits!
Hi Lecia! Hope your week ahead is filled with peace and beauty. xo
this are so lovely spring photos.
Lovely photos. We're currently in Germany where the rhodies put the Washington varieties to shame. Who knew?
I too have that apprehension on Sunday nights as I think most of us do but I try to enjoy it, rather than focus on feeling sad the weekend is over. The light in these photos is truly incredible and I find myself especially drawn to the third one. I think you manage to capture so well what makes life special and to find those bits of paradise just around the corner. Have a lovely week.
I really like box 1967. I'll be looking for those good bits this week. Thank you for the reminder.
This whole collection of photos is gorgeous. I wholeheartedly agree with Valerie...and you! Being able to find those little bits of heaven in our surroundings is a gift we can give ourselves everyday.
I agree whole-heartedly with your friend on that last picture!
