This morning, Alexi and Abbott were up early; Cal and I slept in. That's usually how it goes around here. We have two baseball games to go to in a little while. The boys are lobbying hard to go shopping (with their allowance) afterward. As Abbott put it, 'my money is melting the plastic of my piggy bank'. There's been discussion about purchasing Lego and discussion about purchasing video games. (We allow them to play the number of minutes of video games equivalent to their piano practice, with a maximum of 30 minutes.)
Eleven years ago, Alexi and I rode a tandem bicycle to the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery for a picnic. He proposed to me at the trailhead. It was quite a bike ride, talking and planning and dreaming.
Wishing your weekend is everything you hope it will be.

What a nice special memory for this day.
When I had a garden, peas were my favorite crop.
I love how you linked piano practice to video game playing -- great idea, although I don't have any musicians, I do have readers --
I love your photos every time I come to your blog. So beautiful! Have a lovely weekend.
What a lovely weekend day, a lovely memory, and gorgeous photos. I wish I were a romantic who remembered dates and moments like that.
Our weekends tend to be do-nothing time, and occasionally I think we need to start doing stuff.
