on a July day

Our garden grows.

Every morning, the boys have swim lessons, and I get to read for thirty minutes.

I bought some of the first Washington apricots of the summer. Not the same as the Texas hot-sun-ripened apricots of my childhood, but still so good.

The windows are wide open at night, and we fall asleep to the sound of the wind on the water.

Your tomato plants look much better than mine. I think it's warmer where you are than in Issaquah. Nice deck photo.

i love open windows in the summer! Unfortunately, it's too hot here for that now, but soon . . .

Although they are not as good as the Texans, you sure made them look pretty.

I am envious of your weather. We had lovely weather last year, but it is so miserable th is year that we can barely stand to be outside.
