Sometimes all it takes, to forge a friendship, is someone willing to be in your secret club, or play hide and seek with you, or race you and not notice your competitive streak. Or not blink an eye when you stop, midsentence, to take a picture, because they take as many as you do.

LOVE these pictures of the docks.
I get looked at weird when I tote my camera around and take pictures of things like the farmer's market. I guess there aren't a lot of bloggers around here. :)
country girl - I get the same looks at the markets where I am. It's a bit weird walking around with a camera in my town, but I think people just assume I'm a tourist so I go with it!
Lecia - what lovely photos of the kids you've been showing. That takes me back so much to my childhood when family friends would stay and we'd play hide and seek, board games and just be so excited to hang out together and were so sad when they left.
They all seem such good friends, it's just darling :)
Really just a perfect set of pictures!
:)
It must be a wonderful experience to be together with a blogger friend.
I love that! The leaves have started falling here too, Hello Fall!
Thinking of you today...my parents are in Seattle, visiting a long-lost cousin and my brother's (very sadly) now ex-girlfriend. One of these days, I'll get there, too!
What a great educational day for the kids...smiles
Looking at the leaves makes me think I must pack sweaters when I come in a couple of weeks. It looks like it is going to be cold.
It is pretty simple, yet so sweet when it occurs.
Your sons look like they've grown alot.
Such a nice group of pictures! Love the ones of the kids together! I love Ballard. I lived there for my first year out of college. It wasn't quite so hip then...but I still loved it. :) Margaret
