Wednesday link love

Well, hello. This week seems to have flown by - Wednesday night, already?! To put off packing, what I should be doing, a bit longer, I thought I'd share a few things that have caught my eye this week.

This makes me want to start a boycott against JCPenney.

A great interview with Nigel Slater (via Luisa).

Well said, Anne Lamott (via Molly).

OK, then. I'd better get packing. xo

I'm still so disgusted by the shirt that I'm having a hard time reading the other links. Who would ever buy that for a child?

http://www.coolmompicks.com/2011/08/smart_girl_tee_shirts_-_smart.php - a friend just sent me this link - SO MUCH BETTER than JC Penny!

Thanks for your suggestions. I loved the interview with Nigel Slater. Have a nice day.

Wow. After following your link and seeing the shirt I wrote J.C.Penney an email expressing my dismay. As a college professor and mother to a teen living in the deep South, I work against such idiotic stereotypes every day.

surprised by the t-shirt, doesn't seem like an american thing, and loved the art of clean up!

I grew up down the street from Chez Panisse. To say this area spoils one for food is an understatement. Alice Waters has done an amazing thing in opening people's eyes to quality food. So much so, Chez Panisse has tough competition.
