from Sunday night

I'm back home. And I feel simultaneously bone tired, and full up, after my time with relatives, remembering my grandmother.

As a reminder, I'm posting daily over at habit this month.

I hope your weekend was everything you hoped it would be. More tomorrow. xo

oh, i nearly can't speak, all so familiar, the lines, ages and weights, and even the same writing as my mom and dad and grandparents...amazing.

i am so glad you have a photo to add to the memories those lines and that writing must tears fall as i recall my own family members who are gone.

thank you for awakening those feelings, and many blessings and peace to you in days to come, Lecia.

It does take a lot out of you, saying goodbye.

Love the images of your pasta making too, on a brighter note, looked to be a lot of fun.

Beautiful images of time and growth and love. My children's growth lines on the wall was one thing we left behind when we moved to Seattle. We started over and am marking them on a bookcase that will travel with us.

Oops. I was too quick to hit the return button and didn't sign out properly. Sorry!

I love doorways like that. It's such a symbolic place to mark the passage of time.

And i also love the expression'bone tired'. In fact, that is what I am as well today.

as I look at all those marks on that frame, I realize that it is such a precious gift to grow old and have grandchildren.

all the money in the world would not be able to replace this doorway or the memories that you have stored up.
your image reminds me of rings of a tree.
each year, every inch and the names tell a story.
