I restocked the pantry.
I got the car serviced.
I ordered new (chartreuse!) placemats to brighten things up a bit around here.
I went to the hardware store and bought a snow shovel, and supplies for making a longhouse - ahem - for Abbott to use in making a longhouse.
I vacuumed and did a load of laundry.
It feels like things are just about back to normal around here, and that makes me just a little bit sad.

The floor. Reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
There is always a point in the late spring where my color palette switches to cheerful spring colors....I always think it happens just when I need it most.
I know what you mean about monotonous white! Our winters are so white with grey trees and blue and grey skies that you'd think the monochromatic would be pretty (it is!), but by March it's just ick. Colour and sun make all the difference!
The only reason I know what a longhouse is because "we" just finished our Native American project wigwam last week. What tickles me is that our boys working on similar projects in different states: yours in Washington, and mine in California.
First-time commenter here, but felt I had to pipe in. Cheers ~ Conny
Lovely shot. Makes me want to sit down with a friend, have a tea and chat for hours :)
it sounds like you got some good things done. do you get much snow up there? in cincinnati, we're still waiting! i agree about shocks of color in the winter - they are surprising! happy tuesday!
We haven't got any snow so far this year - and I must confess, I don't miss it (though I did miss our winter trip to the Alps).
