A nice start to the day - breakfast with a friend at The Skillet. Soon, I'll make my way outside for a run.

If you're in Seattle, my friend Sarah Jio will be reading from her new book, The Bungalow, at Third Place Books tonight at 7pm. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to miss it, as it coincides with a hockey practice. I loved her first book, The Violets of March, and will have The Bungalow in my suitcase to read over the upcoming long weekend.

I've been thinking about what I want for the week, the year, this lifetime; feeling happy with what I have.
