Cal and I spent just shy of two hours traveling fifteen miles this evening. The downside of city life. The upside was being stuck enough to listen to the State of the Union address, and discuss it bit by bit. I found myself looking at others in the surrounding lanes, wondering if they, too, were listening. If the collective unconscious was more than just shared frustration.
Happy Tuesday.

Looks like a lot of fun!
I hope they were listening, too.
Great shots. These are hard times. But I think more and more people realize we should put our shoulders under and work together to make it better, instead of just complaining about the big bad world.
i'm loving those paintings. and the idea of the state of the union at 6pm instead of 9. i (cringe) went to sleep instead of staying up to listen. feeling awful about it, but very well rested today.
I love the paint brushes!
Must have been something crazy about the traffic last night, Lecia! I spent 1.5 hours driving from work downtown to the Seattle Center to pick up H at ballet practice and then home. It was awful.
