Abbott's fulfilling a school requirement for community service as an assistant coach, alongside Alexi, for Cal's hockey team. I went along tonight; fun watching him in that capacity.

Feels like a full moon today, doesn't it? Good gracious. Technically it happens tomorrow morning - close enough.

I've taken to doing pushups every day - only 10! - and they are embarrassingly hard. I make sure I'm completely alone before getting down to business, so to speak - no witnesses.

I long for the return of color to the landscape. I'm sure it will happen any day now. Maybe in your corner of the world it already has.

10 pushups - you are a rock star! I can hardly do one and that is on my knees, not going all the way down. tell me it gets easier the more you do (I tend to give up!) and I'll start to do some too. I'm much more inclined to do a 60 second plank twice a day. wonderful writing - I love your stories.

10 push ups is amazing!! I cannot do push ups. I am not really one for exercise, I decided that since I am on my feet all day the most exercise I do out of work is walking my dog!

It is slowly starting to look like spring here, but then we get a very grey day with a bit of rain to remind us to count our blessings :)

Thank you, ladies! I will no longer look upon my lowly 10 pushups as a small thing. Thanks for that. Karmen: thanks so much for your sharing your kind thoughts about my storytelling. Sammi: enjoy your dog walks! xoxo

Pushups are the best. Good for the abs, chest and delts. I used to do 40 M-Fr but then I got lazy. Guess I should get back to it. Thanks for the nudge.

I'm going to start doing push ups at home with a small bit of ab work as I slowly rebuild my exercise routine. I'm with you...some things are best without an audience.
