white coral bells

Every year, this patch of wild Lilys of the Valley appears. They grow on a grassy slope in my neighborhood; I pass them every day on my morning run. Soon enough, the Seattle Parks & Recreation gardeners will come and make short work of them. I stare even more intently at them when I run by because of their fleeting, soon-to-be-mowed nature.

More tomorrow.
