Monday morning

Tomorrow, the planet Venus will trek across the face of the sun. NASA has a nice website dedicated to the event, including a link to watch it via streaming video. Sometimes you get that advance warning when you won't experience something again, sometimes you don't.

It's a gray, wet day here; I've lit a candle thanks to my friend Stephanie mentioning doing it and it has eased the cold and the dark.

I hope your week is off to a fine start.

Lecia~I don't always comment, but your photos are so brilliant! These are the shots that call out to me, though. Kids outdoors in that wonderful outdoor world of the northwest...!! What could be better?

A candle sounds like a great idea! It's so dark and dreary today, isn't it? I've got soup cooking in the crock pot, and am just about to light a fire in the woodstove. It almost feels like fall. Here's hoping June turns around and gets summery real quick!

Love your photos today, Lecia. So lush and green...

Its the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.
