September 29

The tide was coming in as I walked Nelly first thing this morning, and in the darkness, I could hear smaller rocks being shifted by the water. Light began to emerge through the early fog just as I returned home and proceeded with my morning rituals – switching on lights, setting the breakfast table, packing a lunch. These small pleasures of my days in their simplicity, their abundance, fill me up.

So true - happiness lies in the joy of small, everyday rituals. Lovely post. xxx

So true. But how often I forget to embrace the joy and abundance in the every day, while I rush around to get my boys ready for school. Taking an early-morning walk sounds lovely.
