Today the day's the farmers' market at our local hydroponic grower is open, so I brought home some wonderfully fresh and delicious lettuce as well as peppers, herbs, sourdough bread and, unexpectedly, some Honeycrisp apples -- my favorite!

cookie of the week sounds divine. we are changing our eating a little bit, but i can't give up certain things, sugar and all.
today, i am enjoying the company of our toddler friend lily, who plays with my finnian once a week here and once a week at lily's house, which gives each mamma a bit of a break and a bit of two-toddler time. :)

Was scrolling down to catch any of your lovely photos I missed and noticed you mentioned Abbott collecting sea glass. Did you ever read an utterly charming book by Barbara Hurd called Walking the Wrack Line? She has a chapter entitled Lime Sea Glass. Your comment made me want to reread this slim, delightful volume.
