Resonating words...feelings and thoughts. When I don't have it with me, I think missed opportunities and I kick myself, when I do have it with me, I spend time explaining to people what and why I take so many photos - having prints of my memories and thoughts! I feel the same way when I stand out taking pictures of people's license plates here in Anchorage! I saw a GREAT ONE the other day but could not bring myself to take the picture because the owner of this particular car was sitting in it..... Love the top picture!! xoxo

I'm still quite uncomfortable taking photos in a public places, and hope one day soon to feel more confident. I was once with a professional photographer in a crowd watching a parade coming down the street. He just leapt out, over security, and stood right in the middle of the street and took photos. No one said anything, and just a few people looked. I must practice leaping:)!

I went on an historical tour of the Breakers in Palm Beach yesterday and could not believe I forgot my camera! Did not even have my cell with me- which works in an emergency photo op. So I know what you mean about hauling cameras everywhere. When you do, someone objects and when you don't, you wish you had it!
