We used to camp in the back yard when I was little. There is a campground down the street that I like to camp at now...then if there's an emergency (it ALWAYS rains when I camp) I can get home :)

My son is exactly the same and like last summer will spend all this one camped out in our back garden - what adventures though like you I prefer the comfort of my bed!

By the way...my brother is planning on moving to your neck of the woods in the next couple of years, and yesterday he got a step closer to his goal. Personally, I hope he moves sooner rather than later because for some strange reason (with a wink and a grin!) I find myself wanting to come and explore!

camping in the back yard is just the best. my children are going to miss out.

when mira is old enough to have sleepovers, i plan on pitching a tent in our living room. camping nyc style. not the same, but what can you do?

I remember camping in the yard. I never made it through the night, except for one night when we slept in a friend's gazebo. It didn't really seem like camping in a gazebo. I think my relationship with camping was doomed from the beginning. The pictures are great and I love the pillowcases.
